I think the big story is the cbj loosing and pretty badly to NJ on an NHL roster, they have a pop gun offence , goal tending seems encouraging ....

Not as much they lost - more the way they played. Pretty disjointed - looked flat, bad passing, no push with the offense.
Everyone is hoping the goaltending can maintain at an NHL average level - that the defense will be the strength - and everyone else hits their career high in points, goals, etc., to fill offense lost during the summer.
As I've said all summer - this season is a learning curve for a lot of players, and there will be growing pains. Also - all the youngsters, and imports from EU are not used to playing an 82 game season. So they will begin to hit the wall around 50-60 games.
Of course, Murray doesn't have that problem as he usually won't play much more than that.
